To assist - I have lymphedema in legs, below my knees, calf, shin and into my feet for 44 years. This is not caused by a cancer, but over period of time continual swelling due to complications of circulation in the lymph veins or in my case not enough veins in the lower legs. This started at age 14 yrs in my right leg by 22yrs the left leg. It is best to get a doctors assessment to be sure of what is going on or happening if there is swelling. Hope this helps.
