The legend goes that the Blarney Stone is really half of the Stone of Scone, on which the first king of Scotland was coronated in 847. Bruce gave the stone to Cormac McCarthy in 1314 to honor the Irish for their help at the Battle of Bannockburn. Somehow the stone found its way back in Scotland and was later taken to Blarney Castle.
The heart of Robert The Bruce was traditionally believed to have been brought back from the Holy Land (or Spain, more probably) where it had been taken on crusade by James Douglas according to The Bruce's dying wish. It was returned to Scotland in a casket by a knight (subsequently taking the name Lockhart) and buried at Melrose Abbey in the Scottish Borders, excavations discovering some evidence of it there last century. Today at the spot in the ruins of the Abbey a modern plaque bears a quotation from Barbour's epic Scots poem 'The Bruce' "...a noble heart may find nane ease, gif freedome fail ye".
Robert the Bruce's body is buried in Dunfermline Abbey, while his heart is buried in Melrose Abbey. His embalmed heart was to be taken on crusade by his lieutenant and friend Sir James Douglas to the Holy Land, but only reached Moorish Granada, where it acted as a talisman for the Scottish contingent at the Battle of Teba. According to legend, the heart was later recovered by Sir William Keith and taken back to Scotland to be buried at Melrose Abbey, in Roxburghshire.
Malcolm receives the title of Prince of Cumberland from Duncan in Shakespeare's play "Macbeth." This title makes him the heir to the throne of Scotland, placing him in direct line to succeed Duncan as king.
Malcolm's goal at the end of the play is to restore peace and stability to Scotland after the chaos caused by Macbeth's reign. He seeks to bring order back to the kingdom and establish himself as a just and virtuous ruler.

At the end of the Shakespearean play 'Macbeth', Scotland was at war with England. The first act had begun with the defensive war of Scotland under King Duncan I [d. August 14, 1040] against invading Norwegians and traitorous Scotsmen. So too did the last act begin with the defensive war of Scotland under Macbeth [c. 1014-August 15, 1057] against invading Englishmen and discontented Scotsmen.
Malcolm tells this to Macduff as a test to see if he, Macduff, is really loyal to Scotland or if he is there by request of Macbeth to retrieve Malcolm so Macbeth could kill him. This takes place when Macduff if trying to reclaim the crown of Scotland from Macbeth by force and put the rightful heir into throne. Before Macduff, many others had come to try and bring Malcolm back (or it is implied at least), so that is why Malcolm does not trust Macduff so he, like i said, tested him and his loyalty to Scotland
