Yes it does but it may depend on certain conditions. I am eligible for TIER 3 unemployment but maybe because I was in the military. Military personnel receive unemployment benefits differently, from a different "pot" of money. I received notice of eligibility while I am receiving Tier 2 benefits. If you are eligible you will receive it months before you exhaust TIER 2 benefits.
Yes. Please see http://www.dli.state.pa.us/landi/cwp/view.asp?a=358&q=251786
Yes, you can extend your unemployment if you meet the criteria listed in the Related Link below.
Both Tier 3 and Tier 4 were in effect as of 11/08/2009. See Related Link below for more details.
yes, this package does provide for additional unemployment compensation beyond the 13 week Federal extention. (tier 3 and tier 4 were added to federal extension for Tennessee the first week of December 2009. this carries into early months of 2010.) if you are on tier 2 you should automaticaly transition on to tier 3, if you are on tier 3, you should automatically transition on to tier 4. you will receive a letter the week you get your last check from that tier.
I WOULD, but not for much longer.
Yes. Applications available as of today 7/15/09.
Contact the Unemployment Office with this question as any other answers would only be speculation.
if you qualify your unemployment extends into the EUC, emergency unemployment compensation. obama just signed the extension in dec 2010 that extends benefits until dec 2011. if you exhausted your regular benefits you will apply for EUC and begin tier 1 of benefits (20 weeks) then tier 2 (14 weeks) tier 3 (13 weeks) and tier 4 (6 weeks) after that you could qualify for SEB, state extended benefits (20 weeks) if all of the EUC has been exhausted before 12/31/11

Here is the official website stating Ohio gets total of 99 weeks of unemployment if eligible (as of Nov. 29, 2010): Check the Related Link below. If you are initially approved for unemployment benefits in Ohio you may collect benefits for 26 weeks, providing you meet all eligibility requests each week. After you exhaust your initial 26 weeks, you may qualify for Federal Extended unemployment benefits. If approved, your weekly benefit amount will remain the same. This is called the Tier 1 program. If you still were actively seeking, but unable to seek employment within the Tier 1 program you may qualify for the Tier 2 program, which may be a lower benefit amount than the initial 26 weeks or the Tier 1 program. On Friday, November 21, 2008, the federal "Unemployment Compensation Extension Act of 2008" was signed into law. This act extended Emergency Unemployment Compensation benefits from 13 to 20 weeks. It also provided for an additional 13 weeks of federal compensation for individuals in states with high unemployment rates, including Ohio.
Client tier is actually a 3 tier hierarchical structure which includes cliet tier, application tier and data tier.
When qualified, you can receive up to 26 weeks of benefits in a 52 week benefit year. If the benefit expires, Emergency Unemployment Compensation (EUC) pays: Tier 1 provides an extra 20 week, Tier 3 an additional 14 weeks, Tier 3 an additional 13 weeks (until 11/6/2010), and, if approved, Extended Benefits (EB) for 20 weeks, but this one expired on 6/5/2010, and we're waiting for Congress to extend it.
