As far as I know, PepsiCo (or the Pepsi Cola Company) is not actively encouraging anyone to get married, whether to someone of the same or opposite gender. There is some chatter I was able to find on the Internet about anti-marriage groups boycotting Pepsi because of its support of "The Gay Agenda." Speaking as a gay person, though, if Pepsi is supportive of gay people, that news has yet to reach the gay community. FYI, the "Gay Agenda" is this: (1) Equality; (2) See Goal #1.
You'd have to ask someone from pepsi, but my guess would be that they sponsor GLBT organisations because gay people spend money on their products just as heterosexuals do. Also, because they obviously feel that people who would be offended by these ads aren't worth worrying about.
The gay "hate train" has already left the station. As of 2017, only 32% of Americans oppose gay rights, according to the Pew Research Center. Using sponsors that support gay equality can only help.
