Sams Club / Wal-Mart announced March 22, 2012 that it would no longer sell ground beef with the additive known as "pink slime".
This is just not true for the Sam's club in Dallas. I went in this saturday April 6th and I spoke with the meat department directly and he told me that they dont call it pink slime but yes its in their meat and it is perfectly healthy. This disturbed me because every post online says they dont carry it but they are selling it. Sam's offered no alternative.

∙ 12y agoI called my local Sam's club today and the butcher told me that they buy their ground beef from outside vendors and that all he could say was that it was "all beef" which is no answer at all considering the USDA allows pink slime to read as all beef and so the answer was inconclusive but I will personally no longer be buying their ground beef and instead either grinding my own or going elsewhere.
