Hotels, restaurants and shop keepers will be well prepared to cash in the event. When gift cards reach record selling, Hotels and restaurants offer valentines romantic dinner facilities. Scottish People love small get togethers or a romantic candlelight dinner. In a popular fun game in Scotland, equal number men and women are made to write their names on a paper which is then folded and placed into a hat. One hat is for men and the other is women. The first paper piece from the hat will be drawn from men's hat by a woman. The men selected by her should stay with her as her valentine for the whole day. Later, people will exchange the gifts and a sweet Valentine's Day is greeted with many hugs and kisses. Sometimes this valentine's game leads Scottish people to marriages.
