∙ 13y agoNo, The Sims 3 doesn't require the Internet, however certain feature do require an Internet connection. These features include updates, access to the Sims 3 store and other content.

I think the ipod touch plays music and goes on the internet, but doesn't have a phone on it. The iphone also plays music and goes on the internet and does have a phone on it and the iphone has a camera and the ipod touch doesn't.
