That is a tough question! When Fireheart first came to the forest, he fell in love with Spottedleaf. However, Spottedleaf was a medicine cat and it was against the warrior code for her to love Fireheart. At this time, Sandstorm was rude to Fireheart but later she began to like him. Spottedleaf died and Firestar chose Sandstorm as his mate. He knew deep inside that he loved Spottedleaf more than anything, but they couldn't have been together so Firestar gave all his love to Sandstorm. So its up to you to decide; who do you think he likes better? As for Cinderpelt, Firestar didn't love her in the way he loved Sandstorm. Does Firestar die in 'Sunrise'?
No. Firestar does not die in either of those books. The most recent book is 'Sign of the Moon' and at that point he has 3 lives left. So most people guess he dies in 'The Forgotten Warrior'.No. It is rumored that he will die sometime in Omen Of The Stars series, though. I mean, he can't live forever! (Until he joins StarClan, which in most cases would be not living forever on this world.)
