You have to remove the dash upper pad and the lower dash trim under the steering column. The shift indicator cable clips to the steering column. You dont need to remove all of the wood trim around climate control, etc. Only the small section under column and the plastic lower panel that is dash colo…red. There are 3 dash pad screws in the defroster grille, one in each a/c vent. (carefully pry the 4 vents out from each end) There is also one, if not two screws going straight up into the dash just to the left of where it says "cadillac". They are accessed through holes in the top of the glove box liner. The screw requires a 7mm or 9/32 socket on long nut driver or ratchet and extension. Be careful disconnecting the in car temp sensor directly behind the word "cadillac". Once dash pad is out of the way there are 3 cluster screws and 2 holding a black trim bezel located directly under the cluster face. The cluster has to tip towards you to in order to allow the PRND321 indicator to clear the dash. Be sure the dental floss like cable is unclipped from the steering column shifter collar first. This applies to all 1985-1993 FWD Deville, Fleetwood, and 60 Special. ( Full Answer )
get under the car and reach between bumper and radiator and slide the hook over and u can open the hood
the fuel filter is located on the driver's side under the car in between the two wheels. It will be in the middle of the gas line and it has two nuts on each end of the actual filter. The easiest way I found was to use two wrenches. One to hold the nut on the filter and the other to loosen the nut f…rom the line entering it. Do the same to both sides. And by the way, don't be alarmed at the gas that spills out, it won't empty your gas tank since the fuel pump isn't on, it's just some left over gas that is in the line. Hope this helps ( Full Answer )
I had the same on an '04 Sebring Conv. 2.7L. I found the unit (with a mechanic friend's help) on the backside of the engine. It is right in the center of the engine towards the bottom. Sorry if that's a bit cryptic... If I remember right, you will need deep socket to get the unit out.
Everything except for the doors. Coupe is 2 door and sedan is 4 door. The above answer is NT correct. There are aot of parts that aren't interchangeable there are books that will tell you this type of information. Windshields aren't interchangable doors, some trim, evrything in the interior except t…he dash and back deck. Many others, just find a cross reference book. ( Full Answer )

Answer . According to fueleconomy.gov http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/noframes/4632.shtml Fuel Type = Regular MPG (city) = 15 MPG (highway) = 22 MPG (combined) = 18 Fuel to Drive 25 Miles = 1.39 gal Based on 15000 annual miles and a fuel price of 3.01 per gallon: Cost to Drive 25 …Miles = $4.18 Annual Fuel Cost = $2510 Annual Greenhouse Gas Emissions = 10.20 tons Best of all vehicles = 3.5 tons Worst of all vehicles = 16.2 tons I own (and drive) an '88 SDV. My mileage is 10-20% higher. I attribute this to very careful driving. Moby (my Great White Caddy) has an on-board computer that lets me monitor fuel consumption: instantaneous mpg, average mpg, and projected driving range based on available fuel and average mpg. It's amazing how conscious of driving one can be when given good information. ( Full Answer )
ON A 1998 SEDAN DEVILLE IT 'S COMPACITY IS 7.5 QUARTS SO I WOULD SAY MAYBE BETWEEN 6 - 7 QUARTS.
is the check engine light on? if not then i would start with a tune-up (spark plugs & wires fuel filter air filter pcv valve), i believe that's a Distributor less ingition system so no cap or rotor. also a throttle body service is probably needed. good luck!
You might also notice that the passenger side air is slightly warmer than the drivers side. Try to flush the heater core, it might be clogged.
Transaxle- 15 Qts. Crankcase- 7.5 Qts. Cooling system- 12.5 Qts. Fule- 20 gallons. Freon- 2.0 Lbs R-134a

Good cars however motor mounts go's bad causing many other problems.. air suspention keeps running when air shocks are leaking. weak cylinder head gaskets, weak engine power, lots of SERVICE SOON / SERVICE NOW lights
02 cadillac deville wont crank or start the entire dashboard illuminates and everything work when the switch is on seems like it wants to crank but doesnt. I had a problem for years with my 1991 Caddy and kept changing starters for a while. My problem was that I wasn't getting a good read on the …security chip in the key. Next time it happens: turn it off, take the key out, wait at least three minutes and try again. Check your manual to see if that is still the procedure. By the way I decided to live with it. Every start is a roll of the dice. ( Full Answer )
The oil pump on a 95 Cadillac DeVille sedan is located under theoil pan. The oil pan must be removed to access the pump.
Inside the engine, linked to the end of the camshaft, one end sits in the oil pan
NO, in order for a car to be considered a classic it must be at least 25 years old.
It is attached just above the oil filter. You will need to put the front on jack stands. It is hard to remove and you need a sensor removal socket ($10 at autozone). The hard part is getting the plug off first. I am changing this now and when successful, will post full instructions.

Absolutely Not, 100% not even close to being reliable. Produced as cushy floating couch like cars with soft suspension, electric raising antennas and tons of other gobbly gook that is always nowadays broken, can't replace, looks awful. Not to mention it's a horrible gas hog and terrible to our envir…onment. The handling is awful, the tires barely hit the road, the brakes are always too soft and it's horribly ugly car to look at and has no aerodymics, what a humiliation for Cadillac, the whole 80's for them, embarrassing. Don't buy one, it's time for that dinosaur to meet the junk yard. Lastly, no cars made in the 80's are relaiable at this point (2010), too old, don't do it. ( Full Answer )
Oil pressure sending unit is located by oil pan in front. Unplug unscrew and install new one
It is on the back of the engine, next to the distributor. It is on the back of the engine, next to the distributor.
This can be done on the floor, but it is easyer if you raise the car. 1. remove the oil cap and place on the hood latch. 2. place drain pan under the drain plug on the oil pan (10 quart size or larger). 3. remove drain plug and let oil drain into pan until dripping. 4. replace drain plug in pan and …tighten. 5. remove oil filter (front of engine about center from left to right). Note: this is very little room around the filter to remove and install, use a capwrench (fits over the closed end of the filter) you can usually buy these at the auto parts store where you bought your filter. Note: look at the new and the old filters at the threaded end. there should be a black rubber gasket on BOTH if there is no gasket on the old one, pull it off of the place where the filter goes on the engine. 6. lubricate the gasket on the new filter with oil and install tighten according to the instructions on the package. 7. pour 7 quqrts of 10W 30 oil into the hole where the oil cap goes. 8. re-install the oil cap. 9. start the engine for 5 seconds (the oil pressure warning light should go out). 10. Stop engine. 11. wait one minute and check the oil level on the dip stick (level should be approximatelyetween "full" and "add" on the dipstick (a little closer to "full" is OK). 10. Add oil if needed. These engines use oil. check the level every 1,000 miles, add if needed. ( Full Answer )
