1997 Avalon has a belt
I need a diagram of 2003 ford crown victoria serpentine belt.
how do you replace 1997 alternator belt
How do you replace the serpentine belt in 1997 sunfire
It sounds like there is a pulley that is bad or the serpentine belt is bad. Try spraying a little water on the belt while it is running, if the nosie stops, it is likely the belt.
The serpentine belt can be replaced by finding the belt tension pulley. This pulley has a bolt in the center and when you turn it the belt will loosen and you can take it off the pulleys. Look for a diagram sticker under the hood or make your own so you remember how the new belt wraps around the pulleys.
There is no timing belt in a 1997 Nissan Maxima, any model
A 1997 Jeep V8 has a timing chain, not a belt.
No it has timing chains
Your local parts store should have a belt routing diagram in their serpentine belt catalog. I know for a fact that NAPA and Carquest can provide you with this. The online AutoZone diagram was wrong. Take a photo of it.Make sure the new belt is the same size.Got a 2001 Crown Vic, Police Interceptor, was replacing the serpentine belt, got called away after taking it off, forgot how it went back.To no avail the internet was useless, wrong pic; but others had the same question. Remembered I had taken a lot of photos when I replaced intake, and there was the magic photo that saved my day. others!Put up a photo on my site:http://clrsread.services.officelive.com/01CrownVic.aspx
