The torque converter solenoid is inside the transmission on the valve body.
Tcc, torque converter clutch. It is inside the torque converter, which is the connection between the engine and transmission.
The catalytic converter is in the exhaust next to the side of the trans, the torque converter, if automatic, is inside the bell housing.
Upstream is just after the exhaust manifold, and downstream is after the catalytic converter
