All the 4 cylinders have a timing chain. The 3.4 liter V6 however has a timing belt and must be replaced at 90,000 miles. This is an interference engine, so failure to replace the belt and it breaks will result in severe engine damage. The belt drives the water pump so replace it at the same time as the belt.
