I belive that S1 transmission does not have LSD, the only transmission that I know of that has a factory LSD is the YSR tranny from a GSR Integra (92-93)
Novocain tests positive for cocaine, not LSD.
no its not............but a LSD can be installed
no, lsd are on M cars, new cars use the asb system for traction control with the open diff.
No
No. The difference is inside of the transmission.
No.
Yes. ones with ABS and traction control come with a factory Vlsd
what is a positive diff erential? do you mean a limited slip differential or an open differential? the limited slip is kinda like posi-traction in that both wheels get equal power instead of one spinning like crazy and the other doing nothing... the 87-89 turbo models had LSD and all the 90-96 models (turbo and n/a) had LSD
An LSD addition for a car will not make steering more difficult. Instead it improves it drastically as it adds more traction for the car.
No. The ZE only came with an automatic transmission. However, there were a few LSD manual tranny MX6s in Japan. These transmissions are very rare and expensive.
I would say, Low, Second and Drive.
Do you mean a viscous clutch LSD? Having an LSD (Limited Slip Differential) makes drifting much easier to start and maintain than the stock open differential. From what I've seen when you have an open diff and both wheels are spinning, if one gains traction, then the wheel with the least traction will steal most of the torque. on a LSD if one wheel gains traction then the LSD will give more power to that wheel hopefully allowing it to keep free spinning. On most AE86s drivers will put in TRD 1.5 LSDs and ultimately LSDs will allow a more continual drift vs open or locked diffs. ;)
