Sometimes they do but not always. Many patients learn to associate the symptoms they experience to the rise or fall of circulating glucose levels. BUT all patients should "test, don't guess!" It is too easy to think "Oh, it's just fallen a little" and before you know it, a 50BS becomes 30 or 20 and the person is passed out and unable to correct the blood sugar.

Know what Hemoglobin A1C is, the average of blood sugar levels over a 3-6 month period, and to try to stay as healthy as they can because blood sugar levels tend to be higher when a diabetic is sick.

I'm diabetic, insulin controlled and i can promse you it's not fun.
