No, unfortunately, the only way to get melon seeds is to get them from the nether. If you don't know how to make a nether, I'd recommend checking the site posted below. Look up the "minecraft PE multiplication cheat" to help earn diamonds and gold faster. (It takes lots of practice, so don't get frustrated at first) Also, when starting your nether, make sure it's semi-far away from your house or other structures. The nether will totally destroy your house and it makes an amazing mob spawner, so don't let it near your house! But don't place it too far, because you don't want to have to walk a long way. Reuse your nether in the future!
