Most likely he's just playing... sorry to tell you! Boys do this a lot when their self confidence is low and they just want someone to flirt with to get there sprits up. Maybe he does like you though I mean you never know. Does he look at you in that dreamy way? Do you think when he looks at you that in his head he's thinking "Oh, I wish we were closer in age." As you get older though you will probably find that it won't matter to him what the age difference is because all of his buddies will be dating girls at different ages and it wont be so foreign to him to date a younger girl.
