I have Inflammation Breast cancer and I have a hard section of skin on the bottom underside of my left breast on the inside..sometime the hard section seems to be more in the middle by the aerola and nioole and then other times it's across the bottom of the aerola section or just one side.. I'm having chemo and go again the 28th June.. Just want to know seen as this cancer is rare and forms in the skin cells can it"move around" like a cancer lump or what..
Thank you
Colleen
The actual tumour doesn't move so you have nothing to worry about there, but the cancer cells do I'm afraid, it will need to be seen to ASAP. Leaving the tumour unatended can be painful over time and also over-time it grows.
That is a very good question. I'm quite sure so don't take my word for it but i believe they do. (if your talking about breast cancer)
Not ordinarily. There can be cases of it, but a regularly appearing and disappearing lump (according to your cycle) can be fibroids. In larger breasted women, this is a common condition. Fibroids are a benign cyst that will increase or decrease according to your cycle in most cases.
By all means, see your doctor! This condition has medication that can help, and make the breast less painful, for fibroids can be very uncomfortable. It also helps for peace of mind to find out if the lump is a tumor or a fibroid. Knowledge is power, and you need to know exactly what it is that you are dealing with.
