Parakeets need toys, a cage, food, perch, ladder, and food and water containers.
A thorough cleaning of your parakeets cage is required once weekly. Remove and wash the cage tray and perches, and wash the area around the cage. Make sure all toys are clean and damage-free, without loose or broken parts that could hurt your pet. Once a month, you'll need to clean the entire cage with a disinfectant solution. Rinse well, and dry everything before returning your bird to his cage.
You cannot make parakeets fall in love with each other - it is up to them. Also, you need to make sure they are of opposite sex otherwise there is no hope of them falling in love. To improve the chance of them falling in love make sure they are happy and have everything they need - food, water, a big enough cage and possibly flying time outside their cage (if they are tame). Some parakeets need a nest box to breed, look up information in books or on the internet to see if that's what your parakeets need!

I have a bit of a newsflash for you. Parakeets are parrots. The term "parakeet" is used to describe a medium-sized parrot. Parakeets are smaller, are cheaper to feed, are easier to maintain and need a smaller cage. Parrots are usually better talkers and live longer and need more attention but need more space. The better bird depends on what characteristics you want.
No, you do not have to cover the cage at night. When they are in the wild they don't have anything to cover them.
No! if you think parakeets glow, you NEED to do more research before getting one.
No
no Birds should be covered at night. During the day they should be uncovered.
The parakeets may feel cramped or the parakeets in the same cage may be the same gender. If you have two of the same gender, there is a greater chance of fighting because they want to be dominant over the other bird.
Parakeet nest boxes need to be at least 6" x 7" x 7" with a 1.5" diameter hole, although some breeders prefer a wider nest box with the hole st off to one side so the female doesn't land on the eggs when she enters. In that case, I recommend a box around 6" x 7" x 10" (H x D x W).
budgies and parakeets dont mate they do not need a male to lay an egg so the answer is no season
