Does a parent have the right to change their child to another teachers class because of a bad match with current teacher?

Whether a right or not, if you feel there is a problem that might interfere with your child's education based on student teacher relationship, you should act on it. Personally, I would approach the teacher, explain the circumstances and attempt to resolved the situation. If this does not work, I would request a meeting with the teachers superior, whether a department head, vice principle, or principle. I would recommend you approach these individuals in a calm and non threatening way, acting on the best interest of the child. Also, remember there is a difference between perception and reality. There are always three sides to a story. In this case, the child's, the teachers, and somewhere in the middle lies the truth. Never take total sides with either until you have all the facts.
