The US President has an entire State Department, plus specialists in many other government departments, to help him negotiate treaties with other governments. A treaty is made between at least two parties, so no one side can make a treaty by itself.
Any treaty must then be ratified by the US Senate before it can become binding on the US.
So, no, the President does not make treaties by himself.
Bi-lateral means by two sides. One person can not take a bi-lateral action.
No, by definition of bilateral. I do not see how a decision made by one man can be bilateral.
Yes
the president cant make any decision he wants, congress is the one that can. if the president trys to he can get impeached
The President cannot make a decision by himself - he has to run his ideas through the Congress before anything happens with them. Congress will also make sure that the president is doing his job by often calling meetings that would include the president.
indecision
I believe the president.
One decision was whether or not to support the French Revolution, I believe.
The US entered WW2 in December 1941, at which time Jimmy Carter was too young to vote, never mind be president. FDR was president at the time, but he didn't really have a decision to make. The treacherous attack on Pearl Harbour by Japan made the decision for him.
truman dropping a nuke on Japan,
I cant make your opinoins :)
truman dropping a nuke on Japan,
i think the senate and the vice presidentmostly his cabinetThe Cabinet helps the President decide by giving advice and information, but actually making the decision is the President's job. If the President is on vacation or otherwise unavailable to make a decision, the Vice President decides instead.
The electoral college selects the president and the vice president, lucky them. :)
He decided he would save himself for marriage.
