A Refrigerator is technically a series because if one wire goes out all of the others go out
Yes and no. It is actually a series of parallel circuits, and a series of series circuits. The compressor is in itself a series circuit, but it has permissive circuits wired in parallel to allow it to operate. For instance: the oil pressure, thermostat, thermal overload device are all wired in series so that all permissives have to be met before the compressor can run as a parallel resistive load. The door light is also a parallel/series situation in which the door switch is wired in series to actuate the light, but the light is a single parallel load. Usually speaking, permissives or loads that are wired with "and" type inputs are series (it needs this AND this AND this to operate). Whereas loads that need only "or" type inputs are parallel ( it needs this "OR" this to run).
both
A combinational circuit's output depends only on its current inputs. This means, it has a truth table. A sequential circuit's output depends on its previous inputs. This means, it's output will depend on which state it is.
series
In digital circuits, Parallel Counters are series of n flip-flops. It has 2n states. The notion of the word parallel is that, a clock pulse is given at-a-time to all the flip-flops. It may be fed directly. or alternatively, it may be ANDed with some other variable (for example output of previous stage, some other stage etc.).One may have a look at this image :http://www.csbdu.in/virtual/DIGITAL%20MUP/3.2_clip_image015.jpg
Parralel
With series Christmas lights, if one burns out, the whole string stops working. With parallel Christmas lights one light burning out only affects that light. This makes it much easier to replace burned out lights in the case of the parallel lights.
FEEDBACK CIRCUITS. In addition to parallel and series circuits, there are also closed and short circuits.
The types of circuits are series and parallel!
parallel is better
The two basic types of circuits are series and parallel circuits.
Parallel for main circuits and series parallel for lighting circuits.
in bedrooms we have parallel circuit.
They are wired in parallel, series and series - parallel.
In electronics DC stands for direct current. There are three types of circuits in this current. They are the closed, open, and series circuits.
The two main types are series and parallel circuits. From these two circuits comes combinations of different series parallel circuits depending on what end results you need.
series and parallel
parallel
In the electrical trade there are three types of electrical circuits. They are series, parallel and series - parallel. All three types are used every day in building construction and home construction.
