it can in the early years as young boys (and girls) can be very superficial at a young age. as people get older and mature they do start to realise that its not permanent and will go away. When I met my first husband he had incredibly bad acne... but I knew it would pass, and it did...
Girls do have an added bonus that they can wear makeup to cover the acne scars. but I wouldn't do it often (just for school photos etc) as it can make acne worse.

Unfortunately not really, looks should not matter but in this day and age they do, badly enough. A lot of females would see that as a turn off and would not go for a gut with acne. However, increasingly you are finding women these days who are into different kinds of things, and if acne turns out to be a turn on for someone you know or you meet, then you could be in for a bit if luck.
