Almost always. (Like 99.9% of the time) It is composed of 4 different amphetimine types/salts. Unless a drug screen is specially designed to differentiate between prescription amphetimines and illicit use of methampetimines, it will show up positive.
Yes. It is an amphetimine & will show up as methamphetimine on any type of drug screen.
Adderall gives a true positive for amphetamine...because that's what it is.
Adderall will throw a true positive for amphetamines, since that's what they make it from.
Adderall shows up as amphetamine--it's not a false positive because Adderall is made out of amphetamine.
Yes. Ritalin will definitely give you a positive ua for amphetamine
No, adderall will show up on drug tests as positive for amphetamines.
yes, may show positive because of the pseudoephedrine in it. Have the prescription ready to hand and let collector know beforehand .
the question should have read: would a blood test show a dosage prescribed if someone is on adderall- or just a positive for this medication?
Adderall contains various amphetamine salts, and thus it gives a positive result for amphetamine(s) (some tests group various other amphetamine drugs, ie methamphetamine together with amphetamine) on a drug test.
nope. Adderall will make you test positive for amphetamine in the urine/blood. They don't test for cold medicine.
about 8 hours after taking adderall i took an over the counter drug test that tested for methamphetamine and it was negative. also the pharmacist told me before buying it that adderall would not show up as meth. but then again i did come up with a false positive for meth once after taking ephedrine, which is the base chemical for making meth, so i suppose it would depend on the dose, the sensitivity of the test and the persons metabolism. most likely not, but there is always a small possibility.
a false test can be from a cold medicine. you have no idea how pseudoephedrine is so close to illegal drugs.
