Does all evil come from Satan?

Evil is something that was created by Satan (AKA the Devil). God gave us free will, to do whatever we wanted, but Satan tricked the first Man and Woman, Adam and Eve, into doing wrong, which is what God tells us NOT to do.

After Adam and Eve did wrong by eating from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, it was like an addiction-They did wrong, and so now it is a learned trait that they have in them to do wrong. However, with us, we INHERITED that trait from them, and so WE do evil things also.

Evil comes from the spirit of a person

The evil eye is a superstititon or, stretching things, an Occult practice or belief. it is believed to be an invountary, possibly hereditary ( Gift) the eyes appear somewhat demonic or sinister, both usually, though the term is in the singular. the Record Producer master-mind Phil Spector was said to have an Evil Eye. it has been noted some perfectly upright people- by no means bad guys have had this condition. a friend of mine knew an Army Lieutenant who had this condition- and often wore dark glasses indoors, or when there was no apparent reason. The officer was a strange man, and claimed he could look through people"s souls a la (Shadow). owing to his career status he could not have had any visual impairment, so what gives. There are related supersititons about other parts of the body, some people wear gloves all the time, as did a book store clerk in the sixties.

Evil began when sin and iniquity became manifest. Sin is a transgression of what God says is truth and right. Original sin began with Satan, when he was originally Lucifer - a covering cherub in the presence of God. He had an original thought of iniquity, a lie of rebellion that went against the knowledge of God and it caused him to be cast out of the presence of God. His name is now Satan, and he is the father of iniquity - the father of lies. He is the originator of all sin and iniquity (evil) that is manifest through human beings in creation. The first account of evil manifesting on this planet since Genesis, is when Adam and Eve allowed Satan access by agreeing with and obeying what Satan said.

Evil is not a creation of God, but a reality that comes forth because God created all beings with an ability to transgress or disobey His ways. As you know, we are not clones or robots. We can do whatever we choose to do. God in this infinite creation knew this in giving all being a choice. His heart is to see those who will respond to His invitation for relationship and choose to serve Him.
