The 89 is an s5 and the 87 is an s4
It will fit but might take minor modification.
Anything will work as long as you have enough money. There have been LS7 swaps into newer RX7's but i'm not sure about an 87.
It depends on how many lugs there are. If they areboth 5 lug than it will fit. If the 87 is 4 lug then you would have to change the hubs to 5 lug.
To run, no. To pass emissions, yes.
I have an 87 7mge non turbo and i beat my buddies 89 rx7 with a 13b and webber side drafts
you could have a bad ground wire that was my problem
To the best of my knowledge all the 87s had rack and pinion Dont get your hopes up on an after market kit your talking about a different sterring system all together not to mention powering the pump would be a work of great engineuity Good luck
Sounds like a dud fuel pump to me. Check all the wires first . Funny though , 87 rx7 had no carburetor...it has electronic fuel injection.
it may not be easy but it will fit because I have a 87 Buick gn motor in an 87 s-10 so it will fit.
Yes but it will have a remainder because 87 is not a factor of 5738
yes it will fit but only parts from the 87 ot 89 Mazda 323 will work or u can get it from an 87 to 89 mercury tracer both car are interchangeable
no, it is different, do not try to make it fit; 87-95 are the same and all pre-87 are the same
There is about 2.7 hours of labor at $87 an hour.
