Truth is an affirmative defense to any claim of defamation. If the employee was, in fact, stealing from other clients, barring any contract or local law stating otherwise, the employer is completely within their rights to do this.

No. Bonded means the employer has purchased insurance to protect his clients from any damage the employee causes.

Can an employer impose a non compete clause in a compensation plan after you are hired?

Yes, but it should only be effective after the date it was signed. IE if you took your employer's clients prior to signing that agreement, then the agreement PROBABLY won't cover those clients... although the employer can sue you for damages, effectively make you pay him for his lost earnings. Although there are no laws against it, other than non-compete agreements, etc "stealing" a client from an employer is frowned upon in the business world.

Which law covers employers when their employees solicit clients from their business when they leave?

No law covers it and it is not against the law. It might be addressed in the employment contract the employee should have signed when hired. If the employment contract does not mention a non-compete clause, employees are free to steal clients from their former employer with reckless abandon.

Can an employer discriminate against someone with ADD?

No one should be discriminated against. However, if the disorder interferes with his/her ability to do the job as required its another story. You cannot expect an employer to sacrifice productivity, efficiency, and proficiency, just because an employee has a disorder. Its not fair to the company, other employees, and customers/clients. The employer should display some social responsibility by attempting to help the individual, however it also depends on the size and ability of the organization to provide such services.

What is employers non ownership auto liability insurance?

An employer's non-owner is usually an endorsement to a commercial auto or commercial general liability policy that is actually called hired and non-owned coverage. I always recommend this endorsement to my commercial clients because it is very inexpensive and provides coverage to the employer in cases where an employer has to drive to the bank or post office or similar errands. If an accident occurs the endorsement provides coverage for the employer only. It does not provide coverage to the employee who is still required to carry their own insurance. it provides secondary coverage only.
