There are many complexities. Many people have been able to get the citizenship through this way. Also, there have been cases where people forged marriages to get the citizenship. I think now the laws have become very strict regarding this and you may find it very difficult to get what you want.
Best solution is to go back to your country and apply freshly. But here again you may find it difficult as you will not be able to prove that your stay in USA was legal.
In a nutshell, if you go for it your stay in USA is in danger and you will be deported.
