Does anyone have a recipe for homemade Rock and Rye liquor?

Use a large jar and a few mesh tea infusion balls. In the large jar add either 2 cups of rock candy, simple syrup, rock candy syrup, honey, etc (your choice). That is your sweet base. Pour in one liter of rye whiskey, any will do. Recommended: Rittenhouse 100, or Wild Turkey. Fill one mesh tea ball with dried lemon peel and drop in the mixture. Fill another with dried horehound, cassia bark, and clove. Drop that one in. Rock and Rye will be good after about 12 hours of infusing, at which time the horehound and clove mesh ball should be removed before it makes the mix too astringent and bitter.
