According to the service manual that is downloadable and printable from,

...the first generation Sportage transmission takes Dexron II E or MIII Transmission Fluid. This is true for the automatic transmission only. It holds 7 quarts when bone dry.
I've also read that Dextron III is acceptable.
Please double check the link for your specific application.
can anyone please provide answer for this question
Almost anyone does. Automatic transmission is only used by people who cannot drive a manual. Recent luxury cars and buses also use automatic transmission. Remember when you take your driver's exam with an automatic car, you will not be allowed to drive a manual. Given manual is the standard that is kind of a problem...
You are going to have to provide a lot more information before anyone can help you. What kind of car or truck is it? does it have a 4,6 or 8 cylinder motor? Is it automatic or manual transmission?
PLease slow down...
yes i doThan please give us links..
your transmission is having problems by the sound of it. go to a transmission shop.
no shut up
no it has yet to be invented sorry
is this car an automatic? take car to an automatic transmission shop. sounds like the torque converter is about worn out
If you didn't use dexron III transmission fluid, this may indicate the reason for the flashing light. Another reason is either too much or too little fluid. My best advice is to take the car to a transmission specialist. Really, changing the transmission fluid in a Daewoo is not something that should be attempted by anyone but a specialist.
Majority will be automatics, but standard transmission is an option in most cars/trucks.
Use ONLY Honda ATF. Caution: Do not use any other fluid no matter what anyone tells you.
