Does anyone think a 25 caliber auto hand gun a good concealed carry gun?

I personally don't think it's a good choice. The .25 ACP has by far the lowest muzzle energy of all the common handgun calibers. Even the .22 short, on average, has much more energy. What that means is, of all the common choices, the .25 has the lowest chance of actually stopping a bad guy if you have to shoot in self defense. If I was choosing a handgun for self defense, I would want something better than (literally) the worst choice.

Well, yes! Check the laws by going on the web and look at gun carry statutes for Florida. I have a non res from Florida and a resident license from Texas. Licenses are drastically different though. In Texas, it is a LTC. License to carry, concealed or open. Hand guns only. In Texas, you do not need to be licensed to carry a rifle in a ar. Florida is a concealed weapons licence. This means any legal weapon you can carry is ok. You can carry knifes, dirks, collaspable batons, num chucks and just about anything you can think of.

I think they shouldn't because if you take them away you can't protect yourself. You can't use concealed carry either.

Are you referring to the concealed carry permit? It's the only "gun permit" I can think of in Virginia. Go to the sheriff's office which issued it to you, and request a replacement, is all you have to do.

The basic answer is no. In most states, you have to be 21 to get a handgun carry permit, however, I think there are one or two states that will issue handgun carry permits to people 18 or older.
