I'm sure if you believe in God then you will believe in Spirits and Demons.
Some believe that they can & do. Others believe that they are spirits that were never born, or demons.
If you believe you are a god, then that is not atheism because you are believing in a god. Atheism is a lack of a belief in a god. If you believe in demons and other evil creatures then you believe in the supernatural. Belief in the supernatural is not a feature of atheism. Technically, atheists do not hold any belief that supernatural forces control human destiny. You should not consider yourself an atheist.
Demons and Spirits exist as do Angels.
Shintoists worship thousands of gods and goddesses, spirits and ghosts. They also believe in the reverence (not worship) of their ancestors. And they believe in demons and evil spirits to be avoided.
