tats just a stupid question : technically, yes, it does. the First Amendment provides freedom of speech and freedom of press. since books technically do count as part of the press they are protected from censorship and banning. but as you know the politicians and leaders in America do have their own little way of bending the rules every now and then. it all boils down to what the people want, if enough people are for the banning of the book then it will be banned, if more people want it to stay it will stay. it all depends on the rules of the local authority and if people against the book being banned even know of the situation.
A situation that would violate the 1st amendment would be stifling free speech.
First Amendment.

the first amendment.
There is no amendment that gives any "rights" to a religion, except that the freedom to pursue a religion shall not be infringed. You might be thinking of Amendment I, i.e. the first.
Absolutely! Rosaries are a religious item, therefore banning them ANYWHERE IN THE UNITED STATES goes against the First Amendment.
