carburetor cleaning spray will dissolve old oil and gas tarnish build up in a carb, but it will not remove dirt and grit that has got into the carburetor.
Very interesting information here. I have been a carburetor re builder for over 20 years and have found the best method of professional carb cleaning is to use a ultrasonic cleaner.
I would suspect that you can gotten dirt or something in the carburetor. It is probably in the float bowl. Undo the screw at the bottom of the float bowl and wipe it out really good. Then spray it with carburetor cleaner and then let it dry out for a few minutes. Then retry it if it is still doing it then the carburetor and the gas tank will need to cleaned out. Flush the tank with fuel, but diconnect it from the carb andlet it run out into a container. Then take the carb off and spray it really good with carb cleaner. This usually takes care of this problem. Hope this helps you. Good luck.
Having water in the gas tank will work its way up to the carburetor.
Dry cleaning. Or if it was mine I'd take a spray bottle filled with rubbing alcohol o Axe bodyspray (rubbing alcohol if you don't want the Axe fragerance) and spray the coat and the put it outside on a really windy day and let it flap around in the wind all day, that would probably work.

A 1999 Ford is fuel injected, it does not have a carburetor.

It depends on what your floor is like.Types of wood will varie and it will work-If you have carpet it will most likely stain! Have fun cleaning!
A carburetor is found in an internal combustion engine. The purpose of the carburetor is to blend fuel and air.
Purchase a can of Seafoam Engine Treatment and add 1 ounce per gallon of fuel. Treat it 3 times before giving up. It will work wonders in most cases. Remove the carburetor and manually clean it with a spray cleaner if that does not work. Check the float for a pin hole which will cause it to sink and keep the needle valve open.
