Eye abnormalities, urinary tract stones, and mammary gland cancers can be problems in the breed, and the dapple coat pattern (known as "Merle") is connected with eye and hearing difficulties. Some cancers, such as mast cell tumors are common in the breed, as are heart problems, undescended testes.
Your best bet for a healthy dog, is to buy from a reputable breeder who is breeding dogs that have been genetically tested, and has the paper work to prove it.
