Yes, it does have an expiration date. It is generally found on the top flap of the box for Lipton, though I'm sure it's location varies by brand. It does have autolyzed yeast extract, though the yeast is broken down and essentially dead.
You'll find that even water in plastic bottles have expiration dates as the plastic can leech into the water.
