Please see your doctor or at least see a pharmacist to get a mild laxative to drink. Not Ex-lax! Even health stores carry good products to loosen up things so you have better bowel movements. You need to have a better diet with fruits, veggies (especially greens), grains, drink 8 - 8 ounce glasses of water a day, meats, poultry, fish (if you aren't a red meat eater that's fine) brain cereals, nuts, dates, Prunes, etc. This will help soften your stools. If this continues for another 3 - 4 days and there is cramping please see your doctor as you may have a blockage. Most people can have bouts of constipation and it's usually from poor diet and lack of exercise. Get out, get moving. Also as a person ages they have more bouts of constipation. Continue eating, but eat the things I suggested and stay away from cheeses or milk products because they bind you. Hit those leafy greens like raw veggies, broccoli (can steam it) brussel sprouts, whole wheat breads, bran cereals and those 8 - 8 ounce glasses of water as it flushes toxins and fats out of the body.
You may be constipated. You can buy a laxative over-the-counter. Use according to the directions. Overuse can actually make the problem worse.
NO!
No, and it's common to have diarrhoea or be a bit constipated when having your period or right before it. It's the hormones.
You make it un-constipated.
I wouldn't recommend eating spicy foods if you have diarrhea because one reason you might have it could be from a problem with your stomach and spicy food could make your stomach problem worse.
If the 1.5 year old is constipated it is probably because of his/her fluid intake. Water cannot make you constipated because your body functions with it. It needs water in order to not be constipated.
What antibiotics make you constipated
Yes, taking laxatives will make you defecate even if you are not constipated.
Yes it does.
It's normally the opposite, but everyone is different and can react in their own ways. Majority speaking, it should not make you constipated.
You are probably constipated. You should add more fiber to your diet and if it's still a problem tell your Dr.
Caffeine is a vasoconstrictor, so it will actually help shrink your hemorrhoids. This can be a great way to help cure your hemorrhoid problem, but it could make it worse if you aren't aware of the side-effects. Caffeine can also cause small dry stools, which could likely make the problem worse. However, you can resolve this by drinking lots of water and eating lots of fiber. Stool softeners can also help a lot.
