Most likely not - he is doing well with his own band (Fightstar). Also, James already formed his own band in 2005 by the name of 'Son Of Dork'. If you have'nt already checked them out, I recommend it. They arevery similar to Busted musically.
Matt Willis is the oldest member of the British band Busted.
It is not for certain yet, as Matt and James may come back, but Charlie has made it quite clear he will not rejoin the group... An offer has been made for the reunion, but Charlie is now a "former member". (see related links)
The Busted Boys, a popular British pop band formed in the early 2000s, were born in the United Kingdom. The founding members, Matt Willis and James Bourne, are specifically from England, while the third member, Charlie Simpson, hails from the same region. Their music career took off with hits like "What I Go to School For."
Charlie had become fed up with Busted's pop-punk music and wanted to start rock band. Matt and James decided that they couldn't continue the band without Charlie so the band split up altogether. Charlie's new band Fight star are having great success but not as much as he had with Busted. Matt won I'm a Celeb get me out of here and tried to be a soloist but that never took off. James didn't do to well for himself either he joined a band called Son of Dork they had one "hit" called Loser ville they disappeared from site. They all would have been better off if they all stayed in Busted.
It is not a reunion as such but after a valued member of the "squint squad" dies they do get into bed together.
No, Tom Fletcher from the band McFly auditioned for the band Busted and almost made it, but suddenly Busted decided to only have three members instead of four, and Charlie got in instead of Tom anyway. Then Tom met Danny Jones while filming auditions. Tom got to know Danny [a guitarist] more and they decided to form a band together. After looking for more band members they successfully found Harry Judd [drums] and Dougie Poynter [bass]. So none of the members of McFly were in Busted and vice versa but Harry Judd was in one of Busted's videos. Then the two bands were against eachother, competing for more fans and the like. Then pressure got to Busted and they split. McFly were then dubbed the "grown-ups" of the two bands. Although James Bourne, a member of Busted; now Son Of Dork, did help Mcfly write some of their songs.
They are all legal.
