(Yeah, in 15 years New York will become beach front property.) AND it will make winters more stormy and cause summers to be up in the 100 degrees area.

We'll probably survive it, but it's not gonna be pleasant in worst-case scenario.

Also, polar bears and even Antarctic creatures like penguins will go extinct because of the ice melting. When the person above says "We'll probably survive it," s/he's leaving out that millions of people will be displaced and killed by flooding near coastal areas and drought in areas that depend on ice melt for water for their rivers. Since the ice will no longer form, the rivers will run dry, and people will have no source of water. Drought also brings famine; many millions more will die from it as well. Yes, global warming is a serious problem and threatens our future and our children's futures and lives.
