In most cases, yes. Every plant species has its own nutritional needs. Manure provides 3 major components in plant growth Nitrogen, Potassium, & Phosphorus. Depending on the diet human feces can have very high levels of Nitrogen. Assuming that your soil has an adequate amount of Nitrogen Fixation Bacteria to process it all and you're growing a crop like soy which will take advantage of it, then it will be a perfect fit. The misconception of human waste being a bad fertilizer comes from it being full of pathogens that infect humans. Think of E.Coli. You are essentially putting human pathogens directly onto human food sources. Animals have species specific pathogens and a few that through horizontal transmission can also infect humans. The numbers of cross species pathogens are pretty few and there are methods of killing off the bacteria like composting and heating that ensures it is safe to use. In human waste though the numbers of Infectious Diseases are much greater and the cost for ensuring a sterilized supply are unprofitable. So, if you are running a farm just to feed your family and you can manage and control your waste properly you can have an excellent, safe, yield using human waste.

== yes but there is a health issue EWW. Dont do it. Human and animal feces is 67% active bacteria and is unhealthy unless it is properly composted at or above 150 degrees for 30 days or more. This can, if used on plants, make you very ill and/or kill you.

How can you stop your dog from eating mini piglet feces?

You are not going to be able to do this unless you simply keep the dog away from the feces. Why? Because to the dog the feces is a treat and taste good. The good news is that as long as the mini piglet is healthy, its feces is healthy, too, and it won't hurt the dog. Just make sure the dog has access to it's own good food, which is, of course, more nutritious than the feces. Then you can thank the dog for cleaning up the feces for you - just don't let him kiss you right afterward.

What poop is best to use as fertilizer?

Yes and no Human feces contains nitrates just as animal feces so it work just as good in making your plant grow. However animals as dogs, tigers and humans eat meat and therefore the feces contains bactera that if it touches plants that should be eaten, the plant will (if it touches proteins and is heated in cooking for long) it will make a poison that will kill in very small amounts. Also feces from humans may contain worms-eegs and various diseases for an examble flu and infections that can spread throug touching the plant, throug inhalation or eating the plant. Urin are in contrast sterile as it comes out, so i will recoment you using that instead:) (sorry for the spelling, English is not my first language) - Luise
