I believe that Humphrey's 11 will make your period START...but only took it (faithfully, as a matter of fact) when my period was LATE and I was uncomfortable. To be brutally honest, I was in college, not on Birth Control, and always sweating it out when it came time to getting my period. The best thing about it was that it wouldn't have harmed a pregnancy (had I been pregnant) but it did bring my period on when it was late. Sometimes in as little as 12 hours, but usually within about 24 hours. The bloating was always uncomfortable for me. My PMS was severe...so having all of that last from 7 days before to my due date and then beyond, kept me a Humphrey's girl for many years.
