Act 19:3 NIV - So Paul asked, "Then what baptism did you receive?" "John's baptism," they replied.

Act 19:4 NIV - Paul said, "John's baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus."

Act 19:5 NIV - On hearing this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.

If it is a church affiliation issue not sure but baptism in principle as stated above is in Jesus Christ and that is the key, not where it occured.

Can a infant be baptized in Catholic Church if born out of wedlock and one parent is not Catholic?

I can't answer this question accuratly, because I don't know which church you're refering to. But ultimatly it's the child's decision to be baptized, and no matter what the parents' situations are, it can't stop the child from being baptized.Catholic Answer:Yes, parents who are not married can have their child baptized. The Church does not punish the child for the sins of the parents.

Can macedonian orthodox marry in greek orthodox?

Macedonian orthodox like Athenian orthodox and Thessalian, Epirotian, Thracian orthodox can all marry in the Greek Orthodox Church no matter where in Greece they hail from. The foreign church of the Former Yugoslav Republic is a schismatic church and not recognized by the ecumenical patriarchy of Constantinople as an orthodox church. Therefore no Greek, whether Macedonian, Athenian, Thessalian etc can marry in the church of the former Yugoslav Republic but the various ethnicities of the Former Yugoslav Republic who follow their Christian church can marry in a Greek Orthodox Church.

Can Catholics change religion?

A:Yes. If you wish to remain a Christian but join a different denomination of Christianity, it can be as easy as attending the church of your choice and talking to the local minister, who will guide you in joining his church. For other religions, such as Buddhism, simply go to the temple or other place of worship and discuss the matter with one of the priests or monks. Be aware that the Catholic Church will regard your move as a grave sin, but that will no longer be a matter of concern to you..AnswerYes and no. From the viewpoint of the Church, once you are baptized Catholic, there is an ontological change in what you are, you are now something different, a child of God, and, since God has made that change, nobody can change you back, so to speak. Thus, once you are baptized Catholic, you remain a Catholic until you die. From the surface viewpoint, you could stop attending the Catholic Church, and stop participation in the sacraments, and "join" another Church or no Church at all, but that would just make you a Catholic who was living in sin; it would change your practice of religion, but it would not change your religion.

What do you tell someone who has had in vitro insemination and wants to become Catholic?

Show them what the Church teaches on in vitro fertilization (CCC 2376-2377)*, then tell them that they can be forgiven of their sin through Baptism (if they aren't Baptized) (CCC 1263), or if they are already Baptized, through Confession. Although, I assume they don't meet the three requirements for Mortal Sin (Full knowledge, full consent, grave matter**), so they wouldn't necessarily need to go to Confession, although it would probably be good for their souls if they did (assuming they aren't Baptized). *(CCC #) is Catechism of the Catholic Church with cited paragraph number. **YES! This sin IS grave matter!

Can teens be baptized in Catholic church?

Catholicism isChristian Prior to the Reformation the Christian Church was catholic. The unfortunate turn of events caused the scandal which still exists in the Church today. We are not one in the Body of Christ. "Can a teen convert".... That is not a question that can be answered easily, a youth, living with his/her parents should be aware of their parent's sensitivities, and always act in accord with their desires, for as long as they dwell under the same roof. They should discuss this matter with them, and come to a mutual understanding. -- Catholic Priest answering.

Is there a Saint Corinne in the Roman Catholic Church?

No, there is no Saint Corinne, nor for that matter is there a "Roman Catholic Church". It's just Catholic, not Roman Catholic. Roman is an epithet first commonly used in England after the protestant revolt to describe the Catholic Church. It is never used by the official Catholic Church.

Does it matter what age you are when you are baptized?

A strong Catholic belief is to be baptized after you are born, but if you look into the bible, it shows us that baptism is a way of declaring your salvation to the lost world and also a sign of faith to God. It is not required for salvation and it doesnt really matter what age you are baptized at.
