The weight is important. Some call for straight 30 , other call for a multiviscosity ie: 10w30. If it is a standard push mower it is probably straight 30. If it is a rider with a oil filter it probably needs 10w30. If you are unsure, reask question with type and size of mower.
I am a mechanic and have recently found lawnmower oil works quite well in Ford Lasers.
Yes 10w30 is a good oil for snowblower or lawnmower.
If the wrong oil is used in a lawnmower, do not start it. Simply drain the oil as completely as possible and fill with the proper oil.
When you overfill oil in a lawnmower it will smoke when you tip it sideways while mowing,it has no harm
walmart
drain it.
to put the oil in the lawnmower's crankcase would be fine, so long as it is an appropriate viscosity.
SAE 10w30 full synthetic. Change the oil/filter once a year unless you mow commercially.
Depends on which engine but most use SAE 10w30 weight. I recommend you use 100% synthetic oil in an air cooled engine.
Depending on the model of the Craftsman lawnmower, there is either an oil plug underneath the deck of the mower which needs removed to drain the oil or the lawnmower needs tipped on it's side to allow the oil to drain out through the oil cap area. Once oil has drained you will want to refill the oil until the dipstick registers "full".
Depending on what lawnmower you have just simply take the spark plug out and tilt lawnmoer
Of course not. Oil is the crankcase of the engine and only goes to the crankshaft, piston rings, cylinder walls, valves, for lubrication. Technically, oil is just for the main moving components.
