Everyone has the right to have a family. Couples that cannot concieve via natural means will most likely suffer from major depression and isolate themselves from places that remind them of what they cannot have naturally knowing that medical science is available to allow them the fairness to have a family.
No discrimination comes from all angles.
Medicare will cover maternity care for it's covered members. That is a slap in the face for couples that are infertile.
Infertility is not very common.
It is not that Medicare recipients are too poor to care for their children. Their taxes paid for their coverage when they were working. People get so depressed from multiple pregnancy losses, stillbirths and infertility that they get caught up in major depression that leads them to not be able to function like they used to.
So YES. Medicare should cover infertility treatments at all levels.
