It actually depends - some do, some don't.

Regular continuous effects will cease to apply if the monster leaves the field. So Jinzo's trap effect will stop as soon as he leaves the field (or is flipped face down).

Some monsters will say 'until end of turn' in their effect - it doesn't matter what happens to the monster, the effect will last until the end of turn. Some monsters apply an effect, but do not state when the effect ends. If that's the case (like Gale the Whirlwind), then again, doesn't matter if the monster leaves the field, the effect remains.

Finally some will specifically say 'as long as this monster remains face-up on the field'. Usually these are old prints of the continuous monsters mentioned above - they now no longer list this text because they do not need to.

Are Synchro and XYZ monsters with effects considered effect monsters in Yu-Gi-Oh?

They are considered effect monsters if they have the /Effect designation in their text box.

If you declare light when you special summon Tualatin can your opponent summon light monsters?

Well the first issue is that if you declare LIGHT, Tualatin itself will be destroyed. If he leaves the field, his continuous effect is no longer applied, so the opponent is still able to normal or special summon Light monsters. If Tualatin somehow survives this destruction in some way (ie, a continuous effect made his attribute into non-LIGHT) then yes, while he remains face-up on the field, the opponent cannot normal or special summon Light monsters.

What is the difference between Gemini monsters and effect monsters in Yugioh?

Is a tuner an effect monster?

Simply being a Tuner does not make a monster into an effect monster - it is not specifically an effect monster subtype, unlike Spirit or Toon. There are effect monsters who are Tuners, but there are also Normal Monsters with the Tuner subtype too, these are in no way counted as effect monsters.

When Swords Of concealing Light is activated does its effect only affect the monsters on the field the turn it was activated or is every monster affected until the end of the third turn?

The first effect only applies to face-down monsters on your opponents side of the field the turn it is activated. Your opponent may Set more monsters the next turn which are unaffected by "Swords of Revealing Light's" first effect and so remain face-down. Its secondary effect affects all of your opponents monsters while it is face-up on the field. Therefore, for three whole turns, your opponent may not attack.

Do the psychic monsters attack stay the same when future glow is destroyed?

Future Glow is a continuous card with a continuous effect, and applies that effect only while it is active on the field. If Future Glow is removed from the field, or negated, then the continuous effect ceases to apply, and the bonus ATK it provides will be lost.

If Skill Drain is active on the field would face up Gemini monsters still be treated as Normal Monsters?

No, they would become effectless Effect Monsters. That's because Gemini Monsters are Effect Monsters who have a continuous effect that makes them be counted as a Normal Monster while on the field. If Skill Drain is active, this effect is negated, and the Gemini Monster reverts to being an effect monster. However it does not gain its effect monster abilities, these are only switched on by a 'second summon' of the Gemini Monster.

How often can you activate Alien Kid's effect in Yu-Gi-Oh?

Alien Kid has no effects that activate. It has one continuous effect that places an A-Counter on an opponent's monster the moment it becomes successfully special summoned, and another continuous effect that modifies the ATK and DEF of monsters battling Alien monsters while they have A-Counters. Alien Kid does not have a reusable effect that says to place A-Counters on any monster on the opponent's side of the field that arrived there by special summon. What the effect means is that it waits for a special summon to occur and places an A-Counter then.

How does the Skill Drain work in Yu-Gi-Oh?

Skill Drain will do the following:If a monster activates an effect, and the monster is face-up on the field when that effect resolves, then that effect will be negated. If, when the effect resolves, the monster is not face-up on the field, then the effect will resolve as normal. This happens to monsters who activate and resolve in different zones, monsters tributed for the activation of their own effect, and monsters destroyed, or flipped face-down before their effects can resolve.A monster's continuous effect will be negated until Skill Drain is removed from the field.

Can mystical space typhoon stop future fusion effect from sending monsters to graveyard HOW?

Future Fusion is a continuous spell card so must remain on the field for any part of its effect to resolve. If you activate Future Fusion, and Mystical Space Typhoon is chained to destroy it, then while MST does not negate anything, Future Fusion will still be destroyed before it can resolve. Because it was is a continuous card that left the field before the effect could resolve, the effect will do nothing, no monsters will be sent to the graveyard.

If you chain mystical space typhoon to a normal or continuous spell does the spells effect go unresolved because of MSTs higher spell speed?

if you chain it to destroy a normal spell the normal spells effect still goes on, but if you chain it to a continuous spell such as yellow luster shield ( raises your monsters defense by 300 ) since its continuous it has to stay face-up on the field for its effect to work, so it would be negated

The god of obelisk effect?

you can tribute 2 monsters on your field to destroy all your opponent monsters on the field and attack your opponent's life directly but if you opponent has another god then you only attack your opponent's life since the god cards can not be removed from the field by the effect of spell, trap and monster effect any other card's effect can be used for 1 turn then it's destroyed if it's continuous and the gods can not change controller's . or tribute 2 monsters to make it's attack infinity. i hope this helped.

Can Stardust Dragon negates Venom Swamp effect?

Stardust Dragon can only chain to destruction effects that activate. The destruction effect on Venom Swamp that destroys monsters it reduces to 0 ATK, is not activated. It is a continuous effect, and can't be chained to, so Stardust Dragon cannot negate it.
