Does nettalk offer Canadian number

If you live in Canada, Nettalk, will fool you into buying the hardware, for around U$70, delivered to your home, including one year of service.

However at activation time you will be surprised by the fact that there are no Canadian numbers available.

If you call them they will offer you a Canadian number (i.e. 514 area code) for an additional of U$5.99 Per month, which increases your yearly cost by another U$ 70.

The sound (with High speed internet and the best recommended router), is OK, but far from the quality that MajicJack offers. In particular the volume and sound Quality provided by MagicJack are clearly better.

If you haven't already paid for Nettalk, like I have, and your PC stays on all day, then MagicJack wins the comparison hands down.

That said, Nettalk is small, portable all over the world, and does not require a PC, but will still work on a PC's USB port too if necessary.
