Not the exercise per se but being in the sun will enable your body to make Vitamin D (actually a hormone and not a vitamin) from the sun. It is best to go shirtless for 10-20 minutes around midday. NO sunscreen! In this day and age most people are deficient in V D3 and the many problems this deficiency causes are just beginning to be understood.
