Yes, they do. My vet told me that is NOT the place you would every want to get a dog from. He said alot of the time they are dieased, mis-treated, and sometimes means when they get there. He didn't say it in so many words, but he pretty much made it clear that puppy mills is where they came from!
a boxer should only have pupies twice every four months
Absolutely no! Anyone can breed a dog with CKC papers, just like with AKC papers. It is up to you the potential puppy buyer to check out the person you are purchasing a puppy from. Do NOT buy from pet shops as most get their pups from puppy mills. Purchase a pup from a ethical breeder or adopt one from your local Animal Shelter or Pound.
Because most "puppy mills" are illegal it would be difficult to hazard a guess but because there is a demand for certain breeds of dogs and the market for these pups is lucrative there are far too many.
Sure.
what you do is find a big bowl in ur kitchen, and put some puppy food in it. put some water in a cup in the microwave and heat 'til almost boiling. pour the water in the bowl w/ the puppy food and let soak until puffy and soft. stir it a little and after a few minutes, serve to the puppy(s) trust me on this........ i have black lab pups myself :)
Pups or Puppies:)
its not a puppy its a kitten actually
Sometimes, but not most. Puppy mills run on one idea alone; to make money. They breed litter after litter, then ship them off the pet stores and potential buyers as young as possible with as little care as possible to minimize money spent on the pups vrs money earned from them. So most puppy mill pups are kept in cages their early lives, then shipped to a pet store where they'll likely be kept in a poorly kept glass cage full of other sickly pups. Breeder dogs are a different story. Pups that don't sell often go back as breeder dogs, and they typically are kept in filthy cramped cages until they die (typically only 4-8 years), they stop producing pups (in which case they tend to be abandoned or killed), or someone manages to condemn and break up the mill.
As long as the pups have teeth they can start on puppy food
Baby wolves are either called pups or cubs.
Until the pups are three weeks
yes they will kill there pups once in a while
