As I am speaking from experience, I believe this is true! I was once challenged to a Guitar Battle on Guitar Hero by a friend who was a pianist. I am naturally a guitarist so you would expect me to have some kind of advantage. However, because Guitar Hero requires you to not look at the guitar while you play, you have to "guess" where the buttons are and hit them quickly. Therefore, playing guitar makes you worse at Guitar Hero.

tightening the tuners on the guitar change the pitch strings are just like shoes they all do the same thing but some are better for some and some are worse for others.

Having saved my 1972 Conn F-10 from sitting in a friend's closet decaying forever, I discovered that once I fixed a few problems it is a very nice-sounding guitar. I'm sure that a pawn-shop wouldn't give 50 bucks for one of these unless it was immaculate. It might sell in a used guitar store for maybe 90 to 100 dollars. There is no real prestige to the name, but it's a nice, if somewhat cheaply made guitar. I have seen much worse build quality though. I've found that it's value is mainly in the playing. Enjoy. in canada places like Axe Music , Steves Music (im very sure) , Cosmos or Long and Mcquade in america Guitar center or a lot of online stores as I dont live in america, I personally hate Ibanez guitars but to everyone their own. Just make sure that you dont get a guitar with a 200-1000$ higher price tag than another just because it was made somewhere else in the world out of the same woods and essentially the same pickups. worse case scenario cragislist , ebay or kijiji nothing wrong with used guitars they sound the same in the end and you save some money

You should be able to find a good playable mid-range bass guitar for around $300. If youre just starting out, you might want something cheaper & you can find something that's playable, but maybe doesnt sound as good, for around $100. If you want quality count on spending at least $800 hey bro the cheapest i found was $40 but it sounded terrible but a half good 1 is about $300
