As I am speaking from experience, I believe this is true! I was once challenged to a Guitar Battle on Guitar Hero by a friend who was a pianist. I am naturally a guitarist so you would expect me to have some kind of advantage. However, because Guitar Hero requires you to not look at the guitar while you play, you have to "guess" where the buttons are and hit them quickly. Therefore, playing guitar makes you worse at Guitar Hero.

Can you one star a song on Guitar Hero?

No. Despite the games' claims that players are scored on a scale of one to five stars, the only ratings that Guitar Hero, Guitar Hero 2, Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s, and Guitar Hero 3 offer are three, four, or five stars, no matter how low the player's score is. It is therefore impossible to do any worse, star-wise, on a song than "three-starring" it.

What is the guitar for in flamenco?

The guitar is a major part in flamenco. It provides accompaniment for the dancer, and makes the dance interesting instead of just endless footwork and arm movements. It is possible to perform flamenco without a guitar, but the dance is just that much worse because of it, and using a CD is entirely non-traditional (and makes it sound really bad). The guitar is also a HUGE part of flamenco music; in fact, flamenco music mainly consists of just the guitar, the voice, and the cajon.

What can I do if I got a Dent in my Simon and Patrick Guitar It has a Clear Shiny finish but the dent pushed it in and I dont want to make it worse PLEASE HELP?

DO NOT TRY TO FIX IT YOURSELF!!! it will only make it worse. if it really means that much to you go to get it fixed by someone who knows what they are doing. Take it to a "luthier".

What is the value of Conn F 10 acoustic?

I have found that in mass-produced Japan-made Guitars "value" is a relative thing. Having saved my 1972 Conn F-10 from sitting in a friend's closet decaying forever, I discovered that once I fixed a few problems it is a very nice-sounding guitar. I'm sure that a pawn-shop wouldn't give 50 bucks for one of these unless it was immaculate. It might sell in a used guitar store for maybe 90 to 100 dollars. There is no real prestige to the name, but it's a nice, if somewhat cheaply made guitar. I have seen much worse build quality though. I've found that it's value is mainly in the playing. Enjoy. Where can you get a Ibanez guitar?

in canada places like Axe Music , Steves Music (im very sure) , Cosmos or Long and Mcquade in america Guitar center or a lot of online stores as I dont live in america, I personally hate Ibanez guitars but to everyone their own. Just make sure that you dont get a guitar with a 200-1000$ higher price tag than another just because it was made somewhere else in the world out of the same woods and essentially the same pickups. worse case scenario cragislist , ebay or kijiji nothing wrong with used guitars they sound the same in the end and you save some money

Can you string a guitar to suit a lefty or do you need to find a left hand guitar?

Guitars are able to be played either right or left handed.Additional Information:Yes, you can turn the strings over, so that the low E is still on top and play left-handed. However, especially on an electric guitar, you may need to make some additional adjustments to the bridge and adjust intonation. Remember; you're taking a thicker string and putting it where a thinner string was, and vice-versa. You will want to adjust accordingly to prevent vibration / buzzing on the frets.Additional additional:Yes, however there may be issues with the bridge and/or body of the guitar.Generally a guitar has a deeper "cutaway" on one side of the body than on the other. This cutaway allows the guitarist easier access to the frets on the high end of the fretboard. Switching the strings over to convert a right-handed guitar to use it left-handed will result in a much shallower cutaway (or worse, no cutaway at all) and limit your access to those frets. The bridge also may be configured specifically for right-handed play. The higher pitched strings usually require a shorter over-all string length for the harmonics to work out right and this is compensated for at the bridge. On electric guitars this may be adjustable, but on most acoustic guitars you'll be stuck with the bridge the way it is, and stringing it for leftys will seriously hamper the harmonics and ultimate sound of the highest and lowest strings. Many left-handed guitarists give in and learn to play right-handed. Some can even play either way (which is a damn impressive stunt to witness.)Left handed guitar playing can be both a blessing and a curse. When buying new guitars, left handed guitars usually cost a bit more than standard right-handed ones of the same model, however on the used guitar market, lefties are usually much much cheaper.

You should be able to find a good playable mid-range bass guitar for around $300. If youre just starting out, you might want something cheaper & you can find something that's playable, but maybe doesnt sound as good, for around $100. If you want quality count on spending at least $800 hey bro the cheapest i found was $40 but it sounded terrible but a half good 1 is about $300
