The Islamic government of Iran, the parliamentary democracy of Israel and the monarchy government of Saudi Arabia are basic laws with no constitution. It is a law that limits the freedom for women.
People's religions influence their sense of justice and moral uprightness, so many religious Israelis vote their faith.
A theocratic government is one where the Religion and the State are the same - that is, all government functions (and decision-making) is done by the religious hierarchy. This is distinct from the concept of a State Religion. Currently, there are really only one real theocracy in the World: Vatican City. Iran has a strange mix of theocratic and democratic elements. Likewise, Saudi Arabia has a mix of theocracy and an absolute monarchy. Israel has a State Religion with some influence over the secular government, but even that portion really isn't a theocracy (as the State Religion isn't organized in such a manner as to be able to exert institutional influence).
Because unlike countries such as the United States, Israel's government does not have a removal of church and state. Also, religion has been apart of their government for hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of years, religion plays a large part in their lives and government. Moron.

Well currently there is an interesting situation with the supporters of Israel and how it influences Christianity. I'm going to hit you with a strange fact. The largest supporters of Israel are evangelical christians. The reason for this is because in the bible it is stated that the formation of a Jewish state in Israel will bring about armageddon and the second coming of Christ. So currently it influences Christianity pretty heavily
First off, Al Qaeda attacked the US. Al Qaeda attacked because the US had troops in Israel to try and help Israel reestablish government. Al Qaeda wanted to start their own form of government in wich the Islamic religion ruled the people. They also feared our western influence could detract from the righteousness of Muslims.
