Answer 1
Terrorism has no connection with any religion at all. By inference all religions do not condone any form of terrorist acts whatsoever. From a religious perspective terrorism is nothing but EVIL. And evil deeds are not part & parcel of any religion. Only evil people resort to terrorist acts.
Answer 2
Sadly, if only that were so. Both historically and in present day, many terrorists (and those that today we would consider terrorists) have justified their actions by using religious tracts and specific interpretations of religious beliefs. In fact, whole terrorist organizations have been built on specific sects of religions.
That is not to say that religions are inherently pro-terrorist, any more than specific political views can be said to be pro-terrorists. As always, it's a specific interpretationof those religions that is used by the terrorists themselves.
So the answer to your question is this: YES, many terrorists have used religion as a basis for their actions and beliefs. The validity of those interpretations is up for the rest of us to decide.
Terrorism as a WHOLE, however, does NOT require religious foundations. Terrorism can be founded on a whole raft of different reasons, religion being just one of them (and not a required one at that).
Holy war, suicide bombings, fighting for faith, and killing in the name of God - from Crusaders to terrorists, from sacred shrines to New York City, history is tainted by a grave disease afflicting humankind. While all the known religions of the world call for LOVE, PEACE, TOLERANCE, FREEDOM OF BELIEF AND MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING, many of the terrorists' acts are committed in this world by people who call themselves religious, and attribute their horrendous and evil acts to the religion. However, God condemns their acts in the scripture. The true religion of Islam forbids the killing of innocent people, irrespective of the cause-religious, political or social beliefs. This is stated in the Quran, the holy book of Muslims.Who would like to describe Hitler or the likes of Ku Klux Klan as good Christians? We should not let our emotions overcome our logic and understanding. There is no religious scripture that does not condemn terrorism. Every righteous person in any religion would condemn such actions regardless of terrorist's race, country or religious background. Terrosism goes further that religion.
No. Terrorism is worked out by unreasonable people.
No religion, whatsoever, encourages terrorism. Believers of any religion may have among them those who for any reason, religious or political or social, get involved in terrorism.
terrorism.
There is no what so called Islamic terrorism. Terrorism is something related to person but never related to Islam religion or any other religion. No religion, what so ever calls for terrorism. Attaching terrorism to Islam religion is a media propaganda and fabrication to allow politician to enforce their own political Agendas in Islamic countries and to try to limit the spread and inherent power of Islam. There is nothing such as Islamic Terrorism, just there is nothing such as Christian Terrorism.Terrorism has no religion at all.
Religion doesn't promote terrorism as a general rule. It is the misuse and twisting of religion by fanatics and radicals that provokes terrorism. When this happens, religion becomes a sort of umbrella under which some people can feel justified in committing atrocities against others. This is not the fault of religion; it is the fault of the human mind. It's the same thing as guns. Guns aren't evil and don't do violence. It's the person using the gun that causes the problem.
Religion is one of the most common causes of war and terrorism, but there are sometimes other reasons. We should think not only in terms of modern Islamic jihad, but the Christian persecutions of pagans in the late fourth century and the fifth century, the pogroms against Jews and Cathars, and the Christian terrorism of those alleged to be witches.
